Like the phoenix bird that died and risen from it’s ashes, the Peoples Reporters newspaper will soon hit the newsstand to change the narratives of news reporting in the era of social media that seems to provide stiff competitiom in newsvendoring.


Announcing the rebirth of the Peoples Reporter newspaper in Abuja while addressing a selected journalists, the publisher Hon. Hamisu Gambo, Dan Lawam Katsina and former member House of Representatives, promised that the paper is coming out to compete favourably with other notable newspapers in Nigeria.


“The repackaging of the Peoples Reporter has taken us sometime in order to provide our teeming readers an incisive and titillating news as never before,” he said.


Hon. Gambo who was twice chairman of Katsina local government, said

that Peoples Reporter newspaper was rested due to the unforseen circumstances that prevailed then.


“Our paper was rested due to the hostile atmosphere we had to contend with then after 5 years of unbroken publishing.”


“Peoples Reporter with it’s incisive editorial policy is out to provide the alternative to news reporting in Nigeria,” he said.
